Il protagonista dell?anime è Haruto Tokishima, uno studente liceale che vive su Jioru e finisce per imbattersi nella misteriosa arma umanoide ?Valvrave? nei giorni in cui l?esercito di Dorushia violandone la neutralità del suo stato lo invade.
